Zimbabwe’s Inflation Hits 42 Per Cent from 31

Zimbabwe’s inflation hit a fresh 10-year high of 42.09 per cent year-on-year in December, from 31.01 per cent in November, the statistical agency Zimstats said on Thursday

Zimstats said in a statement in Harare that the increase was driven by increases in the price of basic goods.
On a monthly basis, prices increased 9.01 per cent during the same period compared to 9.20 percent in November.
